About the Liberty Ag Solutions Team
The ag retail model has been out evolved by many strategic growers. Liberty Ag Solutions wants to be part of this new revolutionized model.
Our company is focused on simplification and very defined supply strategies. Just like all other retail companies, we sell performance, protection, differentiation, and value. However, the difference with Liberty Ag Solutions is that we focus on your ROI and cut out all the bureaucracy and consultant-designed strategies that inflate grower invoices. With the support of strategic partners and defined product selections, we strive to simplify our in-house expenses and logistics and to pass the savings on to you.
Many companies will highlight the fact that they have thousands of products in their portfolio. Yet the reality is that none of them have a sales force that is educated in all those products, nor can they sell that many products due to the fact that rebate strategies dictate product focus. We don’t sell the “flavor of the week.” Instead, we sell a strategy that has the grower in mind from day one and not shareholders.
At Liberty Ag Solutions, we enjoy what we do — why else do it?
Meet our team of ag professionals:
Jaco Van Der Westhuizen
Owner & Strategic Accounts
After many years of working for the largest organizations in the Ag industry in national and international roles, Jaco decided to do it for himself. He’s taking a lifetime of experiences and learnings to craft a business model that makes sense for all levels of growers – a model that has them in mind instead of shareholders.
Jaco has successfully managed everything from seed treating equipment, seed treatments and seed brands, all the way down to picking rocks and replacing motor belts on grain legs at minus 30 in the snow.
Jaco is blessed with an awesome wife Cindy and together they two great kids, Zoe and William.
Cindy Van Der Westhuizen
HR, P&L, and Regulatory Manager
Cindy Van der Westhuizen joins her husband, Jaco, at Liberty Ag Solutions to help behind the scenes with regulatory compliance, resourcing, business logistics, and good-old-fashioned paperwork.
She worked as a nurse for six years at a hospital for children and then in the medical device industry for 15 years overseeing highly regulated clinical trials.
Cindy has lived throughout the East and Midwest before relocating to Clayton, North Carolina where she, Jaco and their two children, Zoe and William, now reside.
